What to Expect
We desire to honor God in all we do each time we come together for corporate worship of Him.Welcome – You should be greeted as you enter the front entrance of our building by those serving as Greeters. They can help you find a place for your children, yourself, and answer questions that you might have. You can obtain a visitor packet which will give you some more information about the church. The Greeters also hand out our weekly bulletin.
Help Us Help You – We want to be available to direct you and your questions to the right person, so please fill out a visitor card found in our visitor's packet and place it in any of our offering boxes located in several areas around the church.
Bible Study for All Ages – Our Sunday activities begin with a time of Bible study for all ages. We encourage everyone to be involved in these studies on Sunday morning or during the week.
Fellowship Time – After our time of study we have a break for about 30 minutes for fellowship, taking care of the children, and preparing our hearts for worship.
Worship – Our worship service runs for about an hour and 15 minutes (plus or minus 10 minutes).
Typical Service:
- A time of singing
- Scripture reading and prayer, or sharing about what God is doing in various ministries or within individual lives
- A time of singing
- This is followed by a sermon from a passage of Scripture. We generally preach through entire books of the Bible, though not always.
- We close the service with a song.
Offering Boxes are located throughout the facility for giving offerings. We do not take up offerings during the worship service, though giving is part of the life of believers and part of our worship.
More Fellowship Time – After the service many of the congregation stay to fellowship and encourage one another. It is not unusual to have to “chase people out” of the building an hour after the service ends. Please do not rush out after the service. We want to meet you and get to know you better.
Welcome
