Our Affiliations

Southside Bible Church is an independent body of believers, however, we do not believe in isolation. We fellowship and minister along side other local, national, and international churches and Christian service groups.

We are voluntarily part of a network of independent, Reformed (and reforming), baptistic churches under the name of F.I.R.E. (Fellowship of Independent Reformed Evangelicals).

These churches hold many similar doctrines and practices based on the theology of the Protestant Reformation. We work together on various ministry projects/missionary activities which are sponsored and overseen by individual churches.

FIRE holds national and regional conferences to encourage fellowship and joint ministry between the various churches. We have hosted the national conference in 2005 and 2011.

Southside participates in weekly prayer for individual churches across the globe. We also provide support to pastors and other ministry efforts of FIRE churches world-wide.
